Flag Day
Back in May I wrote about a paying gig Frankie was to perform. Turns out it was a dedication of a historic site in our community, on Flag Day. I must admit, pretty soon our entire community will be one great big historic site. Not that I am complaining, but it is a bit much when people never, and I mean NEVER, want to let go of the past.
The dedication was nice. The weather was HOT! Frankie did a good job, along with the other kids who performed. Mostly I wanted to jumped into the lake that was within eye-shot.
